How are faith and doubt are similar?

Just like faith, doubt in and of itself is intangible. It is like a psychological seed. What we think, we do. What we believe, we act upon. Both faith and doubt are related to how we respond to information presented to our various senses. For example, if you read a newspaper, you can believe or doubt the weather forecast for rain was correct. The information was presented, you read it, and you made a decision whether to take an umbrella. Faith and doubt both factor into your choice about how to respond to the forecast.
